How long have you been on DeviantArt? Seven years.
What does your username mean? I stole it from my first and best muse. Since she's a fire witch, it was a play on the Hawaiian volcano goddess, Pele.
Describe yourself in three words. Imaginative, droll, strange.
Are you left or right handed? Right.
What was your first deviation? A photomanipulation of one of my Fae characters.
What is your favourite type of art to create? Digital art of my characters, or bittersweet poetry.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Novel writing. I don't have the attention span!
What was your first favourite? Probably some art depicting Hades and Persephone--my favorite myth.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Digital art of beautiful characters with a dark edge.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Can't pick just one! Doublethickcustard, wlop, tonysandoval, Lavahanje, and Orpheelin are just a few amazing artists I love.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? Haha, I'm pretty introverted, so I'd rather just meet people through my computer screen.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Well, alirodina is a lovely deviant who did some fabulous drawings of some of my characters that I framed and hung in my living room. And dreamsinstatic's support through his contests and comments encouraged me to keep writing poetry. But all my dA friends are important to me.
What are your preferred tools to create art? Pencil, fine sharpies, Photoshop CS6, and a collection of notebooks.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? My porch swing, and at my computer (the internet provides endless inspiration).
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Getting a Daily Deviation on "for unseeing eyes" was pretty neat.
